A  gentleman’s rare, large, diamond set gold enamel quarter repeating pocket watch with two coaxial bells for the chinese market, circa 1810. 18k gold case, the borders on the front and back side with blue and white taille d’épargne enamelling and floral gold decor between set diamonds, the centre of the back side engine-turned and translucent cobalt blue enamelled. Elaborate decorated gold dome with taille d’epargne border and translucid red enamel over an engine-turned ground, paste-set pendant with enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, cathedral hands. Bridge movement, keywind, firegilt, 2 hammers/ 2 coaxial bells,  finely florally hand-engraved,  cylinder escapement, going barrel, engraved and florally pierced balance bridge, blued balance spring
