A heavy, Swiss red gold hunting cased pocket watch with repeater and chronograph, circa 1910.
Polished 18K gold hunter case, all 3 lids made of gold, signed Horlogerie Garantie Genève (Haas Neveux & Cie.) Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic five minutes/seconds numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued steel pear hands. Precision lever mechanism with quarter-hour repeater and chronograph.

Haas Neveux & Co., Swiss watch manufacture
Haas Neveux & Cie. went out of the company B. Haas Jeune & Cie. by Benjamin Haas and was based in Geneva. The firm operated branch offices in New York, Paris, Cannes and Besançon. The company was listed as “Manufacture”. In 1902, Haas Neveux & Cie. earned the first prize for precision in the renowned “Observatoire de Geneve” competition. In 1913 the company received a Swiss patent no. 63652. In 1914, in the famous Geneva Observatory competition, the company won the prize for the best marine chronometer and various other awards, including a record prize for the best regulation. In the same year, the company won a grand prize at the exhibition in Bern. In 1929 Haas Neveux & Cie. Member of the jury at the World Exhibition in Barcelona. 1939 was the last year the company was listed.
The company was re-established in 1991; today, this brand belongs to SWC Company Ltd. in South Korea, previously Samsung Watch Co.
