A large Swiss 18 carat yellow gold quarter repeating keyless astronomical pocket watch, circa 1910. With a triple-date calendar, chronograph and moon phases. A polished case, a hinged gold cuvette engraved with prize medals and technical details. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second division, subsidiary seconds dial and date dial. Apertures for the days of the week, months, moon phases and gilt Louis XV hands. Frosted gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a push-button on the band. Case signed.
