A gentleman’s rare quarter repeating pocket watch with jaquemart and automaton, circa 1800.  18K gold case, smooth, bell. Dial is enamel, Breguet numerals, bell striking putti on a black enamelled background, waterspouts and alternately diving swans, blued spade hands. Full plate movement, frosted, gilt, chain/fusee, verge escapement, silver regulator disc, three-arm brass balance, engraved pierced balance bridge.
