A rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced quarter repeating pocket watch with 3 Jaquemarts, circa 1810. Gilt, frosted full plate movement, keywound, blued screws, two hammers, two gongs, three armed brass balance, fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge, silver regulator disc. White enamel chapter ring with Arabic Empire numerals, two piece gold Jaquemarts á quatre couleurs, the upper part depiction of a knight knocking on the scythe of Chronos, the lower part with two bell ringing putti in front of a gold repoussé temple on a blued steel background, blued Breguet hands. Engine turned case, reeded band, casemaker’s punch mark HC. Gilt cuvette. Cuvette signed.
