Gold hunting cased lever watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold full hunter minute repeating pocket watch with chronograph, made by Record Watch Co., circa 1910. This watch has a hand wound mechanical movement with a lever escapement, a minute repeater complication that uses small trebuchet hammers to strike specific gongs, and an integrated chronograph function. The white enamel dial shows painted black Arabic numerals for the hours, a railway track minute and chronograph second scale, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a large central chronograph seconds hand, and gold cathedral style hands. The massive, round, solid gold hunting case has a blind front cover with official hallmarks inside, a fluted crown, a metal bélière ring, and an engraved gold dust cover cuvette displaying prize medals. It opens to an inner glazed dust cover protecting the finely steeled movement with visible chronograph work.
