A Swiss fine Schaffhausen gentleman’s pocket watch, circa 1919. Delivered to Grogan Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
18 carat gold case, the edges ornamented with braid pattern in black enamel, inner lid with dedication engraving: “To Albert M. Harper from Employees of the Pittsburgh District Sales, Christmas 1919” and it has a push back. Signed silvered dial with applied radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and gold Breguet hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated, ground and chatoned, with 6 adj., 19 jewels, gold-chatoned centre wheel, screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
