A fine Swiss, large 18K gold, hunting cased, keyless, minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1908. With triple date calendar, moon phase, lunar calendar and chronograph. Attributed to C. Barbezat-Baillot, Locle. The case with London import marks 1908-1909. A polished case, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second division, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week, months and seconds, aperture for the moon phases. Blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, notched bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case numbered.
