A rare intricate Swiss pocket gentleman’s pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30 min. counter – for the American market, circa 1920.
A 14-carat gold, polished case with gold dome and pusher for chronograph at 11. A signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minutes/seconds track with red five minutes/seconds numerals, 30 minute counter at 12, auxiliary seconds at 6, and spade hands. And a signed 3/4 plate movement, rhodium-plated, finely ground, screw compensation balance, bevelled chronograph steel parts, and signed: Agassiz, W. Co. Swiss.
