An English 18K gold and enamel George III pocket watch, circa 1790. The back set with a panel of pale blue champleve enamelled and translucent grey enamel over engine-turned decoration in a sunburst pattern, concealed hinge and hinged gilt brass cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions and gilt hands. A gilt brass, full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain polished steel three-arm flat-rim balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass English cock pierced and engraved with foliage and diamond end-stone, silver regulation dial. Movement signed.
