A heavy 18 carat pink gold pocket chronometer Chronometro Gondolo made for  Gondolo & Labouriau Relojoeiros in Rio de Janeiro, Argentina, by Patek, Philippe in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1908. The open faced numbered and plain case of this watch is crafted from 18 Carat pink goldn and its cuvette is engraved with the text: “Fabricado expressamente para Gondolo, Labouriau Relojeiros Rio de Janeiro”. The white enamel dial has black Arabic five minute numerals, black Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial with black Arabic numerals at six o’clock and pink gold hands. The numbered top class anker chronometer movement has a special fine adjusting device, gold winding wheels, wolf’s toothing, a moustache lever escapement and a chronometer balance.
The dial, cuvette and movement are signed.
