A very fine 18 carat gold manual wind concealed watch set into a U.S. 20 dollar coin made by Bucherer in Lucerne, Switzerland, circa 1960. The case has a snap on back and is hinged within an 1884 United States of America 20 dollar coin featuring Lady of Liberty on the front and the bald eagle on the reverse, revealed by pressing the thumbpiece in the milled band. The champagne coloured dial with Roman hour numerals and black hands. The movement is fitted with 17 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, mono metallic balance, adjusted in three positions and a self compensating flat balance spring.
