A Swiss lever in a rose gold full hunter case, hallmarked London circa 1886. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, the lever with counterweight extensions similar to those used by Patek Philippe. Attractive white enamel dial with radially set black Arabic numerals for the hours and red numerals for the minutes. Subsidiary seconds with red numerals and gold hands. Substantial plain 18-carat rose gold full hunter case, plain gold cuvette. Maker’s mark ‘AF’ in a rectangle.
