Gold watch and diamond set ring mount

An extremely rare miniature cylinder watch in a diamond set gold ring housing with Morocco case, circa 1780.
Firegilt, miniature full plate movement, keywind, with chain/fusee, polished steel cylinder, brass escape wheel cylinder, finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, and steel regulator on top plate below the plain three-arm gilt balance. Winding through the small white enamel dial, which has Roman numerals, and gilt filigree hands. Small plain 18 Carat rose gold consular case with large lateral hinge, and gold pendant and bow. The front bezel is set with a row of small diamonds. Gold ring with a hinged mount for the watch, the back engraved with a monogram. The shank of the ring is set with diamonds.
