An unusual pocket watch with barometer and thermometer, made in Switzerland, circa 1890. This watch has an open faced plain case crafted from nickel and features on its face in the center the white enamel dial with black Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold spade hands, a central large black hand for the barometer and below the seconds dial the Mercury thermometer. The movement has a high quality anker chronometer movement with 3/4 plate and an especially large chronometer balance.
