The Rattrapante Valjoux is a mechanical chronograph movement allowing users to time multiple events simultaneously. It is a complex mechanism and is widely considered one of the world’s most prestigious chronograph movements.

Valjoux, a Swiss watchmaker, developed the Rattrapante Valjoux in the early 20th century. It is an upgraded version of the Valjoux 72, a highly regarded chronograph movement. The Rattrapante Valjoux has a split-seconds function that enables users to time two events that start at the same time but finish at different times.

The Rattrapante Valjoux is a manual-winding movement requiring manual winding to operate. It has a power reserve of around 48 hours. The movement is composed of over 300 individual parts, and it is considered a masterpiece of watchmaking.

High-end watchmakers such as Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin use the Rattrapante Valjoux in their luxury watches. Watch collectors highly value the movement, regarded as a symbol of prestige and luxury.
