A Swiss very fine, rare gentleman’s quarter repeating pocket watch with musical movement, circa 1810.
Lavishly engine turned 18 carat gold case with reeded band, a pusher for repetition via pendant and slide for activating the musical movement. Enamel dial with Arabic numerals and blued Breguet hands. Bridge movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, with two hammers, two gongs, two going barrels, sur plateau musical movement with barrel and engraved plate, cylinder escapement and three arm ring balance.
