A rare, thin Swiss quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch by withdrawing and turning the pendant, circa 1820.
18 carat pink gold, engine turned, à goutte case with engine turned band and a numbered and signed gold dome. The pendant is withdrawn from the case and turned 90 degrees before operating the repeater. Gold dial with engine turned centre, inlaid radial Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds and blued Breguet hands. Frosted gilt and keywind “Lepine” caliber movement with 2 hammers, 2 gongs, ruby cylinder escapement, three-arm balance and blued balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb.
