A rare Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with split seconds chronograph, circa 1910.
18-Carat gold, polished, monogrammed case with engraved family crest, inlaid enamel decoration, gold dome and pusher for chronograph at 11. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, 30 min. counter at 9, auxiliary seconds at 3, split-seconds and blued Breguet hands. 2/3 plate movement, rhodium-plated, finely ground, with faussescôtes decoration, screw compensation balance, bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, counterpoised lever and cam type fine adjusting device.
