A fine and rare black onyx gold rose cut diamond set keyless lady’s pendant and lapel watch with painted on enamel erotic sapphic love scene and made in Switzerland circa 1880. Shield-shaped polished black onyx, rose cut diamond set petal form case with silver bezel, yellow gold suspension chains and detachable lapel fitting decorated en suite, the hinged back cover set with a painted on enamel panel depicting two Eastern ladies in a boudoir and a gentleman views the scene from a window.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. Matte gilt movement with 8 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, cylinder escapement, three-arm flat rim balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator.
