Silver open faced keyless pocket watch

A fine and extremely rare German, silver keyless pocket watch, circa 1915. With Louis Wille double lever escapement of 1913. Hinged silver cuvette. White enamel dial with black Dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Spade hands. Frosted gilt movement, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, the polished steel lever with jewelled pallets and shaped for two banking pins on elongated arms behind each pallet, cut bimetallic compensation balance with temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator.
