A rare Swiss silver open faced marksman’s pocket watch with a heavy matching silver watch chain, circa 1914. Precision movement with a fine adjusting device. Cuvette inscribed with medals and Longines 5 Grands Prix Paris-Anvers-Paris Milan Bruxelles. White enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track, red Arabic 24-hours, subsidiary seconds, and rose gold hands. Relief case marked Landesausstellungsschiessen Bern 1914. It comes with the original box, also marked Landesausstellungsschiessen Bern 1914; another watch chain made of horsehair with a silver medal pendant due to the shooting match belongs to this watch, marked Johann Maurer. Case numbered, dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
