Silver gentlemen’s pocket watch

A decorative Swiss silver open faced verge pocket watch with date and visible balance, circa 1830. Full plate movement with chain and fusee and a three arm brass balance. The glazed case back with a cutout for the visible balance, revealing a view to the central balance wheel, surrounded by detailed engraved animals and foliage decoration. The dial shows a camaïeu coastal landscape with a shipwreck in fine gold tones, decentral time indication in the lower half with radial Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track and moon hands, date indication at 12 o’clock. The case is numbered.
