A Swiss gunmetal pocket watch with braille type pinned cylinder musical movement activated as the alarm and visible escapement, circa 1910. A polished case, bolt for start/stop alarm activation in the band, hinged gunmetal cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals and brass poire hands, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, aperture to view the escapement. A rhodium plated movement, visible cylinder escapement with plain three arm brass balance and flat balance spring mounted on the dial plate, index regulator. The cylinder musical train plays when the alarm is activated, with a 25 tooth comb, and fly governor.
