Pocket watch with extremely fine lever escapement

A rare split seconds chronograph in steel, made by Longines Francillon SA in Saint Imier, Switzerland, circa 1945. This watch features a numbered case, crafted from stainless steel and its enamel dial features an outer minute and hour track with Arabic 5 minute and hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minutes counter at 12 o’clock and steel hands. The numbered movement is fitted with an extremely fine precision lever escapement and a split seconds chronograph.
The case and movement bear matching numbers and the case, dial and movement are signed.
