–
A nearly like new split seconds chronograph, made by Longines Francillon SA, in Saint Imier, Switzerland, circa 1953. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from stainless steel and the silvered dial features an outer track for minutes and hours with Arabic 5 minute – and hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock and blued steel hands. The numbered movement is fitted with a precision lever escapement, a split seconds chronograph and a Glucydur balance with screws.
The case and movement share matching numbers and the case, dial and movement are signed.
