Tiffany & Co and Patek Philippe were established 2 years apart in the 1830s, and have had a strong relationship through their 175-year histories. The present lot is an interesting a rare example of such collaboration. Most watches from the era were normally signed just by Tiffany & Co, however, this watch is signed with both the retailer and maker. Additionally, it is interesting to note that the Extract mentions the large, gold dial and that the case is numbered with just the movement number. Sold in New York.
