An extremely rare Swiss 18K rose, yellow gold, 1st class museum like Omega observatory chronometer, marksman precision watch, circa 1910.
Omega precision lever movement in rare 1st class observatory chronometer quality, special fine adjusting device, screwed gold chatons, calibre 19-LOD. Cuvette inscribed: Eidgenössisches Schützenfest Bern 1910. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, and gold spade hands. Solid, 18K gold polished case, the back cast with the profile of a lady dressed in traditional Bernese costume and headdress, surrounded by the inscription 1910 Bern. Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered, accompanied by the original box and chronometer papers from 1910.

The watch is in a fantastic, almost unused condition and is an absolute rarity in the gold observatory chronometer version. Only 280 of these chronometers in the gold marksman’s case were produced!
