It is extremely rare to see a watch in such impeccable condition. Maurice Blum designed this watch to make a slim men’s dress watch. The Swiss patent for this design was granted to him on September 18, 1903. Interestingly, the case design was later used by Louis Cartier in the famous Cartier knife edge dress watches. Due to the unconventional construction, most of these watches are not in good condition today. However, this watch is pristine, as if it just came out of the factory. It was probably worn only on special and rare occasions.
