A rare Swiss silver open faced pocket watch with center seconds made for the Chinese market, circa 1850. A plain case. White enamel dial with Roman hours, minutes markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. Lever movement. The case engraved Bovet in Chinese characters.
