A fine and early Geneva gentleman’s pocket watch with an extremely rare Patek Philippe movement type with Patek Philippe extract from the archives, circa 1879. Sold on 07/26/1886.
18 carat gold tiered engine turned case with reeded band and glazed movement. White enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Rhodium-plated 3/4 plate movement with “fausses côtes” decoration, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, cam type fine adjusting device and counterpoised lever.
