A Swiss unusual gentleman’s pocket watch with quarter-hour/hour self strike Grande Sonnerie, circa 1810.
The polished case is made of 18 Carat rose gold and has a reeded band, slide for striking or silence at 2, and glazed movement with a hinge. The enamel dial has Arabic Breguet numerals and blued Breguet hands. And the divided gilt 1/2 plate movement is keywind and has two hammers / two gongs, two barrels, integrated rack strike with polished steel levers, and gold ring balance.
