Gold keyless full hunter chronograph
–
A fine 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch with chronograph, tachymeter and instantaneous 30 minute register made by Movado in Switzerland, circa 1910. The engine turned case has a polished band and bezels, on the front cover an engraved central monogram, a button in the band at 6 o’clock for the start/stop and return to zero functions of the chronograph and a hinged gold cuvette engraved with the exhibition medals.
The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track with fifths of a second divisions, an outermost red and blue tachymeter scale calculated for 1000 meters, sunk subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock, a 30 minute register at 3 and gilt Louis XV hands. A nickel plated movement with 20 jewels and a straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, Breguet balance spring and an index regulator.
Dial, case and cuvette signed.
