A fine Swiss, 18K gold and champlevé enamel pocket watch, circa 1830. Entirely decorated case with gold foliage on a black champlevé enamel ground. Hinged gold cuvette. Silver dial, champlevé radial Roman numerals on a brushed chapter ring, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, engine-turned centre. Gold Breguet hands.
A matte gilt movement, Lepine calibre, jewelled cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed.
