A fine and rare Swiss 18K yellow gold and enamel open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1910. The back cover is decorated with the finely painted polychrome enamel coat of arms of King Alfonso XIII of Spain beneath the Royal crown. Hinged gold cuvette. Two-tone gold and silver dial, foliate and floral engraved, Arabic numerals on silvered circular reserves, outer silvered minute track, subsidiary seconds, blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, hatched decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Excelda.
