A splendour pendant form watch made in Switzerland, circa 1920. This extraordinarily shaped double cased watch has a hinged outer case made of gold with elaborate goldsmith work and is decorated on both sides with small gemstones, the crown also set with gems. The inner case is gold plated and glazed on both sides, it has a cutout on the side for the inner hinge of the outer case. The very decorative dial made of blue guilloché enamel has gold Arabic hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions and rose gold hands. The movement has a cylinder escapement.
