A rare and unique Swiss 14 carat gold miniature purse watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1917. Sold on September 6th, 1918. Bridge movement, a club tooth lever escapement and gold screw compensation balance. Gilt dial with inlaid blue enamelled minutes, minute divisions and black spade & whip hands. A polished, hinged case with inlaid black enamelled Roman hours on the front. Dial signed, the movement and case back signed and numbered, the inside case numbered. Comes with an Extract from the Archives.
