An unusual open faced gunmetal keyless pocket watch with an erotic automaton. Made circa 1870.
Four-body case, open faced, gunmetal with yellow gold bow, winding crown, inset corners. Automaton activated by winding the crown.
White enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer minute track and subsidiary seconds. Gilt Louis XV hands.
Frosted gilt movement, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator.
