A fine, unusual and very large Austrian silver key wind pocket watch with visible balance, circa 1900. The gilded brass full plate vase shaped movement is fully decorated on both sides with engraved foliate and geometrical patterns, has a fusee and chain, cylindrical pillars, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring and two footed cock. The face with a small silver dial featuring Roman hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions, a center with an engraved rosette and fine hands. The drum form polished case is glazed on both sides, has hinged bezels, a turned pendant and large bow.
