A fine and unusual, turned ivory pocket watch, circa 1860. Possibly Russian, the movement Swiss. Turned ivory case, turned pendant and carved circular bow, sliding pivoted back secured by a screw. Ivory cuvette. Small white enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and blued steel Breguet hands. A matte gilt movement, bar calibre, jewelled cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator.
