A very rare Swiss 14 carat gold open faced keyless chronometer pocket watch made for the American market by Omega, circa 1906. Retailed by Arthur Everts & Co in Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. A smooth case. Original white enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The high grade caliber DDR chronometer movement with 23 jewels, a lever escapement, screwed gold chatons, a diamond endstone and fine adjusting device. Dial signed by the retailer, movement signed by the watchmaker and retailer.
