Gilt metal skeletonized verge watch

An English gilt metal pair cased skeletonized verge with polychrome enamel dial, circa 1760. Full plate fire gilt movement with pierced and engraved skeletonized top plate, three turned pillars, pierced and engraved cock set with the silver regulator disc, fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel set-up between the plates, plain six-armed polished steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with polychrome enamel scene of a hunter and his dog in the centre, Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt beetle and poker hands. The back of the inner case glazed to reveal the movement, constructed without a bezel and the glass fitted to the decoratively engraved outer case.
