A very fine French, 18 carat yellow gold keyless dress watch with jumping digital hours. The case with London import marks for 1919-1920. A solid, polished case, wide bezel, coin edge band, fluted coin edge bow. Matte silver dial, engine turned with rayons de soleil, black painted Arabic five minute numerals, outer minute track, aperture for the jumping hours and blued steel single arrow hand. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, movement signed Cartier, Paris, case punched JC and numbered.
