A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1917. The manual wind jewelled nickel movement with 18 jewels, a cut bimetallic compensation balance, cam wheel regulator and moustache lever escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued moon hands. A smooth case with the monogram ADB on the back and a cuvette with an engraved dedication. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
