A very fine and possibly unique American gold and diamond mounted opal watch and brooch by Tiffany & Co, New York, 1890’s. 19 Jewel manual winding lever movement, bimetallic balance, signed Tiffany & Co. White enamel dial, Arabic chapters and blued hands. Case formed from a single opal bead, with gold bezel set with round diamonds, gold pendant set with rose-cut diamonds, gold interior signed Tiffany & Co, 18 carat. Case, dial and movement signed. With a brooch set with three opals within round diamond surrounds.
