A fine and rare Swiss silver open faced manual wound pocket watch with 24 hour dial by Borel & Courvoisier in Neuchâtel, circa 1850. The movement with a lever escapement. Gilt dial with black Arabic 24 hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, a brushed center and subsidiary seconds, original moon hands. A plain case. Movement signed, case numbered. Comes with the original key.
