A fine 18 carat gold open faced manual wound pocket watch made by Patek, Philippe & Cie in Geneva, circa 1910. Retailed by Gondolo & Labouriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro. The frosted gilt movement with a straight line lever escapement, patented bridge calibre, wolf’s tooth winding, a gold wheel train, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and Wilmot’s patent micrometre regulator. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds and gold spade & whip hands. The polished case with an engine turned back. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original presentation box and an Extract from the Archives.
