Gold fob watch with detachable châtelaine

A very fine and elegant French 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set open faced fob watch with chatelaine, circa 1860. The gilt brass bar caliber movement with a cylinder escapement, ten jewels, a plain gilded brass three arm balance and flat blued steel balance spring. A hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions and original gold Breguet hands. The case back with translucent royal blue enamel over a sunray engine turned ground, a central diamond set monogram and reeded band. Cuvette signed, case numbered. Accompanied by a matching detachable gold, enamel and diamond set chatelaine with a key and stone set blank seal.
