A fine and ultra rare Swiss 18 carat gold manual wind concealed watch set into a U.S. 20 dollar coin made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1974. The movement with a lever escapement and 18 jewels. Nicely aged champagne coloured dial with Roman hour numerals and blued hands. The case with a snap on back, hinged within a 1923 United States of America 20 dollar coin featuring Lady of Liberty on the front and the bald eagle on the reverse, revealed by pressing the thumbpiece in the milled band. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Comes with an Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on December 20th, 1976.
