An English 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating key wind pocket watch with a triple calendar made by William Rogers in Liverpool, Chester Hallmarked for 1862. Gilt
¾ plate movement, an English lever with engraved raised sections, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, diamond end stone, two polished hammers striking on two gongs and a lever on the top plate to adjust the repeater speed. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, the date at 12, the days of the week at 3, the months combined with month duration at 9 and blued steel spade hands. The polished plain case with a repeat slide in band and stamped G.R. Movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original winding key.
